I am an actress, voice artist (represented by Squawk Voices & Scottish Voiceovers), director and teacher. I have a wealth of voice-over experience and, in particular, audio book narration working for several publishers and across many genres, but especially children's books and crime novels for some reason! I love doing them all, but especially children's books.
I also train actors; from 2016 - 2019 as Artistic Director of the BA Professional Acting course at Drama Studio, London and, currently, as a director and teacher at E15 Acting School
I am also Artistic Director of Theatre Foundry, which I set up with director Helen Tennison in 2018. Theatre Foundry runs workshops, masterclasses and courses for professional actors. I teach Uta Hagen technique and have spent time in New York at the Hagen Institute, part of the HB Studio, working intensively on approaches to teaching the method. I specialise in Hagen's Object Exercises and Scene Studies, teaching at E15, Drama Studio, London and previously on the London College of Music's BA Acting for Stage and Media.
I have a love of Shakespeare and hold a Masters in Shakespeare and Theatre from The Shakespeare Institute. I run specialist workshops and masterclasses on unlocking the mysteries of the Shakespeare's text and performing Shakespeare and have recently directed Cymbeline, King Lear and Macbeth for Drama Studio, London.
