Curs
Corbett Theatre 2022
A response to the tragedy of Coriolanus by William Shakespeare and Magnificence, a sixteenth century satirical, political farce and morality play by John Skelton.
A country somewhere in the 21st Century. War rages, supplies are scarce and the citizens are mutinous, but in the capital’s corridors of power The Patricians hold the keys to its food stores, its law, its military and the rights of all, especially the rebellious rabble; filthy curs with vulgar wisdoms!
But dogs must eat.
And some are happy to help them. For a price.
